Care Instructions

1. Always wash brass or kalai tope by hand. Avoid using dishwashers as the harsh detergents and high temperatures can damage the tin lining and the brass.

2. Brass can tarnish over time. Use a commercial brass polish or a homemade mixture of lemon juice and salt to keep it shiny. Apply the polish with a soft cloth, rub gently, and rinse thoroughly.

3. The tin lining can wear out with use. Check the lining periodically for any wear or damage. If the tin lining is damaged, get the tope re-tinned by a professional to ensure it remains safe for cooking.

4. Avoid using high heat for extended periods as it can damage the tin lining. Use medium to low heat for cooking.

5. Ensure the tope is completely dry before storing it to prevent moisture buildup, which can cause tarnish and corrosion.
